TOWN OF MURRAY NOTICE OF FILING OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant
to Section 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Murray, County of Orleans,
has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that said roll will be filed May 1, 2024. The Tentative Assessment Roll may be viewed online at www.townofmurray.org. The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, June 4th, between the hours of 4 00 p.m. until 8 00 p.m. in the Courtroom Meeting Room at 3840 Fancher Road, to hear and examine all written complaints in relation to assessments on the application RP524 of any person believing himself aggrieved. Entrance is at the rear of the building. The publication containing procedures for Contesting Your Assessment in NYS will be available at the Assessor’s Office or available online at www.tax.ny.gov. ORLEANS COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE

TOWN OF MURRAY NOTICE OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on February 26, 2024, the Town Board of the Town of Murray, New York (the “Town”) duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Town Law Article 7. THE RESOLUTION authorized the Town Board to reduce the number of Town Justices from two to one, effective January 1, 2025.

ORLEANS COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR’S NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

that I, Cynthia Oliver, the undersigned Clerk of the Town of Murray, County of Orleans, New York have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Murray for the year 2024 and that I will attend at the Murray Town Hall, 3840 Fancher Road in the Town of Murray from January 2, 2024 to April 30, 2024, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., excepting holidays for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on the said roll. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2024 without penalty.  On all taxes received after such date, there will be an added penalty as follows: February 1st – 29th  1% March 1st – 31st  2% April 1st – 30th  3% until such taxes are paid or until return of unpaid taxes to the Orleans County Treasurer on the 1st day of May, 2024. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, Real Property Tax Law Section 987, Notice of Unpaid Taxes.  On April 15, 2024 a notice will be mailed to each owner of real property on which taxes remain unpaid.
